IA Systems Engineer Secret Clearance at Piper Companies in Cherry Point, NC
Piper Companies is currently seeking a IA Systems Engineer for an opportunity for a federal contractor at Cherry Point, NC. The IA Systems Engineer will ensure regulatory compliance of customer systems, conduct vulnerability scans, and manage the certification and documentation of a network upgrade project. Responsibilities of the IA Systems Engineer:
Understand and follow SRGs and STIGs in order to ensure compliance of operating systems, applications and network infrastructure Validate compliance by conducting vulnerability scans using eEye Retina and ACAS. Oversee security documentation efforts for certification and accreditation of information systems in accordance with government requirements. Utilize knowledge and experience with Risk Management Frameworks (RMF), DoD IA Program, NIST standards, and overall procedures involving information assurance. Develop, review, and update security artifacts, evidence, findings, Plans of Action, Contingency Plans, and other compliance documentation. Qualifications of the IA Systems Engineer:
Position requires active Secret Clearance 4
years of information assurance, networking engineer, systems administration , cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure experience Experience working in with Cisco/Juniper products i.e. routers, switches, etc. Experience working in Linux environment; Windows OS or Red Hat experience is a plus Must be available for on-site work. Compensation of the IA Systems Engineer:
Pay Rate:
$45 - $60/hr, based on years of experience and required relo assistance
